My Hairy Little Men.

After days of just blobbing around I needed fresh air..I took Lachlan and Cassandra to the shop to buy some food, and made a big batch of fruit salad for everyone to eat.img_1295

I have two sons who have started looking like two little girls, their hair is actually covering their ears! Today I cut their hair. I am terrible at cutting hair, but I didn’t think that it could look any woarse! So here is Lachlan’s hair, heaps huh?img_1296 I have decided that it would make a good petimg_1297

or is it a little girl?img_1298Now my boys look like boys again!img_1302img_1300

My Life in Pictures!

Thursday? Went to the city, survived the hour train trip…so many people, so many different aftershaves…I took Alycia with me.img_1269She typically discovered the only bug in the city, a giant!img_1271I got the green light for Dayspring Day, the theme will be “Bible Bill, Crossing the Continents”

I get all excited about this day every year, even though there  is a lot of work involved.

I got home with one hour to spare before I had to take Lachlan and Stephanie to their science lesson in Narre Warren. They both got 21/25 for their science test. I hoped for better, but there was only one other person who got higher, chemistry, tuff stuff! I arrived home in time to take Camden to Boy’s Brigade. This car was outside when I picked him up, he insisted that I take a photo of him with this cool car.img_1273

Can’t remember what we did on Friday, except that Steph made me proud when she unpicked her cushion and re-sewed it for dad. I thought that she would put it in the too hard basket, but she proved me wrong, I was so happy. J now has it on his chair at work.img_1279The children had youth group, but only Steph went because Lachlan had the flu. I did the bread collection with Jenny for the first time. Bags of bread from Baker’s Delight. The neighbours scored some loaves, we stored some in the freezer, mum and dad even shared the blessing. I will only be helping once a month.

From Sat. we have been pretty much inside watching every DVD that we have. We have square eyes.img_1282img_1281

img_1285Of course I now have some energetic children too..img_1284I must remember to book him into the dentist.

img_1288Did I say that Jared is home too? He is suppose to be in Sydney tonight and tommorow, but instead..img_1283And me? I just give them pears, half a banana sandwhich and….img_1286Today I have been giving Lachlan some placement tests. This week I recieved some mail saying that Lachlan had to sit one to get into Scotch (not that we are convinced that we want him to go there for year nine yet), at this stage he isn’t doing so well, mind you, I struggle with some of the questions.img_1290

A little blessing of the day…our back yard neighbours own a secondhand bookshop, and every now and then we find…a bag of books hanging over the fence…img_1289Which gave the girls a happy moment.

img_1292I was hoping to catch up with so many people this week…perhaps next week?

School Holidays

It must be school holidays, I have sick children. Cassandra has been unwell since Thursday, Lachlan since yesterday, and now Camden has started. Camden is the woarst, he hallucinates, it is so scary! He has real terror in his eyes, as he calls out, “they keep murdering me” He does this while he points at a spot, repeatedly screaming. I just went and bought some more panadol. Why does everyone get sick on holidays? Thankfully children bounce back pretty quickly, so heres hoping!bxp22875

Too Busy to Post

Where has the week gone? Friday the older children had youth group, they learn’t about building each other up, and the one foundation of the Church, Jesus. They started off the night building with cardboard boxes, some of the children were blindfolded, hand cuffed, or had their feet tied. Yes, we all need each other to build!img_1222We had another Homemaker’s lesson on aprons. The girls were able to sew their own basic, but pretty apron on the day.img_1262Alycia loves her apron so much that she has been wearing it while doing her school work! At the same time ,Mr Peet taught the boys how to make a go-cart, how cool is that? The boys were so wrapped, and we were given the opportunity to take it home first. So this is what we did when we got home.img_1251Isn’t it great to have a slave, oh, I mean a sister, to push you up the hill?  Mr Peet wouldn’t be impressed with such a little girl pushing her big heavy brother. img_1245Don’t worry, Lachlan gave his sister a turn as well.

What else has happened? We have delivered heaps of pamphlets, but still have some more to go after 4 hrs worth. Steph has made a patchwork cushion for Jared, but it has been declared too small, so she needs to start again….poor Steph….img_1235Mum came over today to use the internet, their’s is down. I also officially handed the missionary magazine that I do, over to a bright young lady, she will do a great job. Tommorow I am off to the city to try and get my ideas for the next DSD approved. I will catch the Met train, which I haven’t done for over 10 years! How old do I sound, do you believe that I am a little nervous?

Steph made a cute teddy after school today, don’t you think that it is adorable?img_1266I had a sudden urge to grab it from her, give it a cuddle and call it “Rainbow”…How old am I?

Tonight Cassandra has a little temperature, I have just given her some Panadol..I have forgotten that it can make them hyper (lock up the cupboards folks!). Better go now, lots of kiddies to cuddle. Oh, and just in case you are reading this Nicky (my sister in Thailand), Cassandra said out of the blue today “Auntie Nicky has make up on her nose, but now her nose is getting better..” Sweet eh? Nicky had a skin cancer removed just before going away, and Cassandra is still thinking about her.
