Besides me waking up looking like a gourd (my lips are covered with blisters), the children are on the improve. Ellie noticed last night that Cassandra’s feet were very dry, so I spent the morning cutting nails and then rubbing them with hydroderm. The younger children loved this special attention of rubbing in the cream, obviously relaxing them. Lachlan thought it was weird, but commented later in the afternoon that his hands were less cracked. Steph giggled through the process. If you haven’t done this to your children, I encouraged you to do it, it was a very sweet time with each one.
We needed some fresh air. Even though I have opened up windows and doors, I thought that the fresh air and a car trip would be a bit of a boost. Here’s Camden, happy, but still a little pale with a cough. So off we went in the car.I picked up our replacement vacuum that I should have picked up two days ago. we dropped off at Carribean Gardens for Steph to pick up 3 more Dutch box plants for J’s garden venture, and lastly I picked up some bias binding for an apron that I am making for a friend. All this while the children sat happily in the car. Back home, and rest mode. Oh, and we discovered another dress up, deep down in the dress up box.
